Kendal is an experienced holistic educator with over a decade of experience working with school-aged children and their teachers. She began her career in children's publishing, transitioned to environmental education and discovered her next job title — Waldorf teacher — while completing her MEd at OISE, University of Toronto. She is passionate about nature, art and literature and about teaching the whole child — head, heart and hands.
Shèrida has been teaching for almost 17 years and has experience in Canadian as well as international educational settings. Shèrida began her career teaching English in London, Ontario, with the Thames Valley District School Board. She is currently the Head of English at an all-girls' school in Oakville, Ontario, where she has taught for nine years. Shèrida will completing her MEd at OISE, University of Toronto, this August. In her spare time Shèrida spends time with her family and friends. She also loves to sing and is currently recording her second CD!
Peter is a passionate religion, math, and physics teacher who is currently teaching in a grade 7-8 FI classroom. He has gained valuable world experience and language skills working with l'Arche in France and at an international school in Colombia. He has been a teacher since 2010 and with two young children he is excited about sharing his love of holistic learning with them.
Stephen is a high school drama teacher living and working in Kitchener, Ontario with the Waterloo Region District School Board. Prior to teaching, he spent 7 years as an actor, theatre director, playwright, and arts administrator based in Winnipeg, Toronto, and Copenhagen. He has taught at the Copenhagen International School as well as with numerous arts and other non-profit organizations. He is midway through his MA in Education at OISE.
